The polo club is by far my favourite thing about Warwick and I’m really excited to be club secretary this year. I spend as much time as I can playing polo or hanging out with the club members (at pop, the pub or in the grid) and I can safely say that Warwick polo has taken over my life.

My job as secretary means that I’ll be in charge of planning the annual ball which takes place in the second term and hopefully it will be as amazing as the ball Izzie planned this year! Other than the ball, I help the rest of the exec by writing minutes for all the exec meetings and answering any questions from new and existing members as well as inquiries from outside companies and bodies.

I’ve been playing for 7 years and I decided to go to Warwick (mainly) because of how nearby and successful the polo club is – what’s so important about a degree anyways? Also, Grant’s ponies are absolute machines in comparison to most school ponies. This makes it a little difficult to choose a favourite but I’ll narrow it down to Fatty, Francis, Evie, Peke, Pampa, Granny and potentially some more of the ones I haven’t ridden yet!
